
Sun Moon Lake
Sun Moon Lake is Taiwan’s largest natural freshwater lake and a scenic alpine lake renowned for its stunning mountain-and-water landscapes and rich Indigenous culture. Visitors can take a boat cruise to explore the lake, cycle along the lakeside trail, ride the Sun Moon Lake Cable Car, or visit attractions such as the Xiangshan Visitor Center.

Alishan National Forest Recreation Area
Located at an elevation of 2,216 meters, the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area is surrounded by towering mountains and enjoys a cool, refreshing climate. It is world-famous for its “Five Wonders of Alishan” — sunrise, sea of clouds, sunset glow, forest, and mountain railway. The rich cultural heritage of the Indigenous Tsou people further enhances the area’s unique charm and tourism appeal.

Kenting and Xiaoliuqiu
Kenting National Park, located at the southern tip of Taiwan’s Hengchun Peninsula, is surrounded by the sea on three sides. It encompasses both land and marine areas, and it is the only tropical region on the main island. Xiaoliuqiu, a small offshore island formed mainly of coral reefs, is a year-round travel destination known for its rich ecological landscapes and a wide variety of water activities.
